Attorney Letarte has been invited on multiple occasions as a guest speaker on the subject of Parole Suitability Hearings. She spoke in Sacramento to educate the Appellate Attorneys assigned to CCAP (the Central Appellate Panel). She was invited and received an Award from the Families of the Incarcerated for discussing her Lifer Tips handbook. She was asked to attend a LIFER FAIR at the Soledad Prison (by special invitation only) for a Questions and Answers (Qs & As) session as well as subsequently giving a 2.5 hr Seminar session. The North County Bar Association (i.e. Criminal Section) requested a Continuing Education Seminar on Parole in her hometown of San Diego. The latest (summer 2011) request was a SHOOT at TIME WARNER’s Studio on Marsy’s Law, among other topics. That interview will AIR in the near future on local public TV. Stay Tune!
